New Reactor Control Valve Presented
Control Valve 5/8", PN-2300
Many users of older LDPE plants, especially those who operate according to the process licenses of ICI, CdF Chimie and Sumitomo, use old type reactor control valves, that are no more supported today. For those clients Uhde HPT has developed a replacement valve that matches the original connection sizes and fulfils the required functions using modern materials and control elements.
The valve is designed for a pressure of 2,300 bar and can be driven either by a pneumatic or a hydraulic actuator. The construction fulfils all relevant international codes like ASME, PED and ATEX for explosion zone 1. It can be delivered ready for installation including drive, controller and a hydraulic power unit if required. The installation and commissioning will be supervised by an Uhde instrument engineer.
